Christmas, Part II

Christmas weekend we headed to Aliceville to spend time with the Gentrys. Christmas Eve is always spent at Sugar and Papa's house, this year we had a light lunch followed by a fun game of dirty santa! I actually don't have any pictures to share, but check out ML's blog for some cute pictures!

Santa usually visits Nina and Big Daddy's house on Christmas morning, but this year he rearranged his schedule to visit on Christmas Eve night. We had a ton of fun watching EC open gifts and letting her help all of us open gifts as well.

EC got a pair of pink cowboy boots and immediately had to put them on! It was absolutely precious!

We had a wonderful time with all the Gentry family and loved spending the weekend together.

The week of Christmas, we had some very special visitors in Birmingham! I was so excited to host my family in our little home, especially these little guys!

Then, the weekend of New Years, we headed to Ider to have Christmas with all of my family. For the past several years, my parents have sacrificed having their Christmas with us on the actual day since we all live in different places. It's just easier on everyone if we just set aside New Years to have our time together. As we all get older, we realize it wil get harder each year to be together at the same time, but I pray that we continue to cherish the time together!

Christmas at Nana's house

On our last night, we went to the new pizza place/arcade in town! JD had such a fun time playing all the games and we enjoyed the all you can eat buffett! ha!
this little guy loves his Pawpaw!

And I almost forgot to mention that Spiderman came in town to save us from the evil villians!

What a wonderful Christmas! We were able to spend time with both families, but most of all, celebrate the birth of our Savior! What a true blessing!
